If adjustment isnecessary, proceed as follows:• With engine not running, move remote throttle controllever to “FAST” position.• If throttle lever on engine touches high speed stop, nofurther adjustment is necessary. If throttle lever doesnot touch high speed stop, continue with adjustmentprocedure.• Loosen cable clamp screw.• Move throttle lever up until it touches high speed stop,and hold in this position.• Tighten cable clamp screw securely.TO ADJUST CARBURETORThe carburetor has been preset at the factory and adjustmentshould not be necessary. However, engine performancecan be affected by differ ences in fuel, temperature, altitudeor load. If the carburetor does need adjustment, contactyour nearest authorized service center/departmentIMPORTANT: NEVERTAMPER WITH THE ENGINE GOVERNOR,WHICH IS FACTORY SET FOR PROPER ENGINE SPEED.OVERSPEEDING THE ENGINE ABOVE THE FACTORY HIGHSPEED SETTING CAN BE DANGEROUS.
