Instead, theysupply a conversion kit that allows these machines to be equipped with a new generation battery (asused in the Automower 520/550 from year of construction 2020). Disassembling and reassemblingthe Automower is entirely at your own risk and any form of warranty will be void (however, asHusqvarna no longer supplies the old batteries, there is no other choice). Below is a step-by-stepexplanation of how to insert the new battery. If you want to convert the Automower 330X you need2 sets because this machine uses 2 batteries. The second battery holder can be kept as a spare orthrown away.Step 1: disassemble the coverThe hood is mounted on the chassis with four click closures. See Figure 1. The charging cableattached to the hood charging strip must be disconnected to completely remove the hood from thechassis.Follow the steps below step by step.1. Set the main switch to position 0 (off).2. Clean the area around the grommetfor the charging cable at the very frontunder the mower.3. Pull the rubber grommet on thecharging cable and carefullydisconnect the plug.4. Detach the cover from the chassis bylifting the cover corner by cornerwhile holding the chassis in place.Figure 1Step 2: disassemble the chassisThe chassis consists of an upper and a lower part. They are attached to each other with 14 screws.The 14 screws are indicated by arrows in Figure 2.1. Loosen all 14 screws (torx 20). See Figure 2.2. Remove the warranty seal at the separation point between the halves of the chassis. Notethat when it is removed, Husqvarna no longer gives any warranty on the Automower.3. Carefully lift the rear edge of the top part of the chassis.4. Disconnect the HMI cable from the main print. This is indicated by an arrow in Figure 3.5. Now remove the top part of the chassis.
