10 – EnglishCUTTING EQUIPMENTRemovalModels 371K, 3120KRemove the cutting disc.Do as follows!Lock the cutting disc by inserting asuitable drift through the hole in thecutting arm. Undo and remove the bolt,flange washer and cutting disc.Release the tension in the belt andremove the front belt guard and cuttingarm.Undo the nuts (A).Unscrew the belt tensioning screw (B)to release the belt tension.Remove the front belt guard and thecutting arm.Remove the rear belt guard and drivebelt.Remove the nuts (C) and screw (D)(371K). Then lift off the guard and drivebelt.NOTE!The cutting disc is driven by a drive belt that is correctly tensioned throughout its life by a powerful spring, oncondition that the belt tensioning screw is correctly adjusted.The belt is subjected to hard, uneven loading. The pulleys also have relatively small radii, which places specialquality requirements on the belt.
