GENERAL SAFETY PRECAUTIONSEnglish – 111151020-95 Rev. 2 2008-03-10Locking nut (326Ex)The locking nut secures the cutting attachment on theoutput shaft.Protect your hand from injury when assembling, use theblade guard as protection when tightening with a socketspanner.When fitting, tighten the nut in the opposite direction to thedirection of rotation of the cutting attachment. To removeit, undo the nut in the same direction as the cuttingattachment rotates. (CAUTION! The nut has a left-handthread.)Tighten the nut using the socket spanner. 35-50 Nm (3.5-5 kpm).The nylon lining inside the locking nut must not be so wornthat you can turn it by hand. The lining should offer aresistance of at least 1.5 Nm. The nut should be replacedafter it has been put on approx. 10 times.Locking screw (326ES)The locking screw secures the cutting attachment on theoutput shaft.Protect your hand from injury when assembling, use theblade guard as protection when tightening with a socketspanner.When fitting, tighten the screw in the opposite direction tothe direction of rotation of the cutting attachment. Toremove it, undo the screw in the same direction as thecutting attachment rotates. (CAUTION! The screw has aleft-hand thread.)Tighten the screw using the socket spanner. 18-25 Nm(1,8-2,5 kpm).
