English – 19START AND STOPFitting theharness• Put on the harness withengine unit.• Press together the hipbelt’s snap lock.• Tension the hip belt sothat it rests on the hips.• Tension both shoulderbelts so that the harnesspresses to the back.Quick release incase of hazard• Pull out the red strap.• The hip belt and oneshoulder belt will beautomatically released atthe same time and theharness and engine unitwill slide to the ground.Removing theharness• Switch off the engine.• Release the hip belt’s snaplock.• Pull one arm out of theshoulder belt and lowerthe harness and engineunit to the ground withthe other hand.Connection ofthe engine unit• Hang the engine unit onthe harness.• Make sure the hydraulichoses are on the right sideof the harness (viewedfrom behind). Exhaustfumes will then be directedbackwards, away from theharness.• Fit the lock spring (A).WARNING!The hydraulic oil can during and after usebe very hot. Avoid contact with the skin.NOTE!An new machine which isstarted for the first timeshould be run for a maxi-mum of half a minute withrepeated throttle starts, afterwhich hydraulic oil must bereplenished in the hydraulicoil tank until the level iscorrect. Repeat thisprocedure until the level inthe hydraulic tank stabilises.StartPress the machine body tothe ground with the lefthand. (NOTE: Not with thefoot!) Grip the start handle,pull the start line slowly outwith the right hand until aresistance is felt (the starthooks engage) and then makea quick and strong pull.Open the chokecontrol immediately when the engine ignites and makerepeated attempts to start until the engine starts. When theengine starts, give full throttle and the start throttle willautomatically disconnect.NOTE!Do not pull the starter cord out completely and do not releasethe start handle from the fully drawn position. This can causedamage to the engine.WARNING!Starting with the start throttle functionconnected can give an uncontrolledactivation of the cutting equipment.A!!
