Refer toengine owner's manual for recommendations.Connect Hose and Water Supply toPumpIMPORTANT: To avoid pump damage, you mustassemblethe nozzle extension to the spray gun and attachatl hoses before you start the engine.I. Remove and discard tape covering pump's oil filler cap.Remove and discard alt pump shipping caps beforeattaching hoses.2. Uncoil high pressure hose and attach quick connect endof hose to baseof spray gun (Figure 3). Pull down oncollar of quick connect, slide onto spray gun and let goof collar. Tug on hose to be sure of tight connection.3. Similarly, attach other end of high pressure hose tohigh pressure outlet on pump. Pull down on collar ofquick connect, slide onto pump and let go of collar.Pull on hose to be sure of tight connection.4. Before connecting garden hose to water inlet, inspectinlet screen (Figure 4).Clean screen if it contains debris, replace if damaged.DO NOT RUN PRESSUREWASHER IF SCREEN ISDAMAGED.5. Run water through garden hose for 30 seconds toclean out any debris. Turn off water.IMPORTANT: DO NOT siphon standing water for thewater supply.Use ONLY cold water (less than 100°F).6. Connect garden hose (not to exceed 50 feet in length)to water inletTighten by hand (Figure 4).CAUTION• Damage to equipment resulting from failure to follow thisinstructionwill void warranty.7. Turn ON water and squeeze trigger on spray gun topurge pump system of air and impurities.WARNINGAlways wear eye protection when using this equipment or invicinity of where equipment is in use.Before starting the pressure washer, be sure you are wearingadequate eye protection.
