Most ofthe items are described in the Maintenance section. The user must only carry out the main-tenance and service work described in this Operator’s Manual. More extensive work mustbe carried out by an authorised service workshop.Maintenance DailyMaintenance WeeklyMaintenance MonthlyMaintenanceClean the outside of the machine.Make sure the throttle trigger lock and thethrottle function correctly from a safety pointof view.Check that the stop switch works correctly.Check that the cutting attachment does notrotate at idle.Clean the air filter. Replace if necessary.Check that the guard is undamaged and notcracked. Replace the guard if it has beenexposed to impact or is cracked.Check that the trimmer head is undamagedand not cracked. Replace the trimmer headif necessary.Check that the locking nut of the cuttingequipment is tightened correctly.Check that nuts and screws are tight.Check that there are no fuel leaks from theengine, tank or fuel lines.Check the starter and starter cord.Clean the outside of the spark plug. Re-move it and check the electrode gap. Adjustthe gap to 0,6 mm or replace the spark plug.Check that the spark plug is fitted with asuppressor.Clean the outside of the carburetor and thespace around it.Check that the bevel gear is filled three--quarters full with lubricant. Fill if necessaryusing special grease.Check the fuel filter from contamination andthe fuel hose from cracks or other defects.Replace if necessary.Check all cables and connections.Check the clutch, clutch springs and theclutch drum for wear. Replace if necessaryby an autorized service workshop.Replace the spark plug.
