Adjust the length of the harness until the supporthook is roughly level with your right hip.OperationIntroductionWARNING: Read and understand thesafety chapter before you use the product.To do before you start the product1. Examine the work area. Remove objects that can bethrown out.2. Examine the cutting attachment. Make sure that theblades are sharp, and have no cracks and damages.3. Make sure that the product works correctly. Examinethat all nuts and screws are tight.4. Make sure that the handle and safety devices arenot damaged and are attached correctly. Do notoperate a product with missing parts or is changedfrom its initial specification. Use protective gloveswhen it is necessary.5. Make sure that the covers are not damaged and areattached correctly, before you operate the product.To connect the battery charger1. Connect the battery charger to the voltage andfrequency that is specified on the rating plate.2. Put the plug in a grounded socket outlet. The LEDon the battery charger flashes green one time.Note: The battery does not charge if the batterytemperature is more than 50 °C/122 °F. If thetemperature is more than 50 °C/122 °F, the batterycharger makes the battery become cool before thebattery charges.To connect the battery to the batterychargerNote: Charge the battery if it is the first time that youuse it. A new battery is only 30% charged.1. Make sure that the battery is dry.2. Connect the battery to the battery charger.3. Make sure that the green charging light on thebattery charger comes on. That means that thebattery is connected correctly to the battery charger.4. When all LEDs (A) on the battery come on, thebattery is fully charged.BLiA5. To disconnect the battery charger from the mainssocket, pull the plug. Do not pull the cord.6. Remove the battery from the battery charger.Note: Refer to the battery and battery chargermanuals for more information.To connect the battery to the productWARNING: Only use Husqvarnaoriginal batteries in the product.1.
