ASSEMBLY18 – EnglishFitting the trimmer guard andtrimmer head Trimmy SII (235R,235FR)• Fit the correct trimmer guard (A) for use with thetrimmer head. CAUTION! Ensure that the guardextension is fitted.Hang the trimmer guard/combination guard (A) on thetwo hooks on the plate holder (M). Bend the guardaround the shaft and tighten it with the bolt (L) on theopposite side of the shaft. Use the locking pin (C).Place the locking pin in the groove on the screw headand tighten. See diagram.• Fit the drive disc (B) on the output shaft.• Turn the blade shaft until one of the holes in the drivedisc aligns with the corresponding hole in the gearhousing.• Insert the locking pin (C) in the hole to lock the shaft.• Screw on the trimmer head (H) in the oppositedirection to the direction of rotation.• Tighten the trimmer head to a torque of 35-50 Nm(3.5-5 kpm).• To dismantle, follow the instructions in the reverseorder.Fitting other guards and cuttingattachments (232R)• Fit the trimmer guard/combination guard (A) intendedfor use with the trimmer head/plastic blades. Securethe trimmer guard/combination guard using fourscrews (L) and the support plate (M) as shown.• Fit the drive disc (B) on the output shaft.• Turn the blade shaft until one of the holes in the drivedisc aligns with the corresponding hole in the gearhousing.• Insert the locking pin (C) in the hole to lock the shaft.• Screw on the trimmer head/plastic blades (H) in theopposite direction to the direction of rotation.Fitting other guards and cuttingattachments (235R, 235FR)• Fit the trimmer guard/combination guard (A) intendedfor use with the trimmer head/plastic blades.CAUTION!
