54 - EnglishENGLISH2.3 Symbols in the Operator’s Manual• A warning box indicates the risk of personal injury, especially if theinstructions are not followed.• An information box indicates the risk of material damage, especi-ally if the instructions are not followed. The box is also used wherethere is a risk of user error.2.4 Safety instructionsUseThis robotic lawnmower is designed to mow grass in open and levelground areas. It may only be used with the equipment recommended bythe manufacturer. All other types of use are incorrect. Themanufacturer’s instructions with regard to operation/maintenance andrepair must be followed precisely.Never use the robotic lawnmower when persons, especially children, orpets, are in the cutting area. If there are persons, or pets, in the cuttingarea it is recommended that the lawnmower be programmed for useduring hours when the area is free from persons, e.g. at night.The robotic lawnmower may only be operated, maintained, and repairedby persons that are fully conversant with its special characteristics andsafety regulations. Please read the Operator’s Manual carefully andmake sure you understand the instructions before using the roboticlawnmower.It is not permitted to modify the original design of the robotic lawnmo-wer. All modifications are made at your own risk.Check that there are no stones, branches, tools, toys or other objects onthe lawn that can damage the blades. Objects on the lawn can also leadto the robotic lawnmower getting stuck in them and help may be requi-red to remove the object before the mower can continue mowing.Start the robotic lawnmower according to the instructions. When themain switch is set to 1; make sure to keep your hands and feet awayfrom the rotating blades. Never put your hands and feet under the robo-tic lawnmower.Never lift up the robotic lawnmower or carry it around when the mainswitch is in position 1.Do not let persons who do not know how the robotic lawnmower worksand behaves use it.The robotic lawnmower must never be allowed to collide with persons orother living creatures. If a person or other living creature comes in thelawnmower’s way it shall be stopped immediately.Do not put anything on top of the robotic lawnmower or its charging sta-tion.Do not allow the robotic lawnmower to be used with a defective bladedisc or body. Neither should it be used with defective blades, screws,nuts or wires.Do not use the robotic lawnmower if the main switch does not work.Always switch off the robotic lawnmower using the main switch when therobotic lawnmower is not in use. The robotic lawnmower can only start whenthe main switch is set to 1 and the correct PIN code has been entered.The robotic lawnmower must never be used at the same time as asprinkler. In this case use the timer function so the mower and sprinklernever run simultaneously.WARNINGTextIMPORTANT INFORMATIONTextThe robotic lawnmower must never be used in temperatures below 0° CThis might cause damage to the product.Husqvarna AB does not guarantee full compatibility between the roboticlawnmower and other types of wireless systems such as remote con-trols, radio transmitters, hearing loops, underground electric animal fen-cing or similar.The built-in alarm is very loud. Be careful, especially if the robotic lawn-mower is handled indoors.Connecting the power supplyTake the following into consideration when planning where to place thepower supply• Close to the charging station• Protection from rain• Protection from direct sunlightIf the power supply is connected to an electrical socket outdoors, thismust be approved for outdoor use. It is recommended to use an earthfault-breaker when connecting the power supply to the wall socket.The low voltage cable must not under any circumstances be shortenedor extended. Place the low voltage cable so that the blades on the bladedisc can never come in contact with it.Do not, under any circumstances, mount the power supply at a heightwhere there is a risk it can be submerged in water (at least 30 cm / 12 ”from the ground). It is not permitted to place the power supply on theground.Never connect the power supply to an outlet if plug or cord is damaged.Damaged or entangled cord increase the risk of electric shock.TransportThe original packaging or Automower carrying bag should be usedwhen transporting the robotic lawnmower over long distances.To safely move from or within the working area:1. Press the STOP button to stop the robotic lawnmower. If security isset to the medium or high level, the PIN code has to be entered.The PIN code has four digits and is chosen when the roboticlawnmower is started for the first time.2.
