First check to ensure that the heat shield (the inclined steel shieldabove the combustion chamber) hangs properly in the v catch points.2. When using the stove for the first time, put small dry wood in themiddle of the combustion chamber. Put the throttle flap in its openedposition (the position of the handle corresponds to the position of thethrottle flap) and leave the insert window3. Stir up the fire off and on by setting the door ajar for just a momenteach time.4. Gradually build up the fire with thicker wood. Maintain the fire whilekeeping the window and throttle flap open.5. After 3 to 4 hours, you may carefully shut the window. |
