Sometimes the location of the IR sensoris not obvious. Consult the owner’s manual or the manufacturer of thecomponent to determine its exact location.n Red indicator flickers at random - The HE1000A is designed toreceive infrared signals and occasionally it may pick up random infrared“noise.” The random flickering does not cause any harm, unless itappears to interfere with proper response to commands. Try moving orturning the HE1000A Remote Eye so that it is not affected by strongsunlight or light from at television screen. If flickering persists, try turningoff the television receiver to see if it is affecting the HE1000A. TheHE1000A Remote Eye may be moved away from the television toeliminate problems. Noisy electronic light dimmers may also causeinterference. Try turning them off to test them.Limited WarrantyHarman Kardon warrants its products to be free of defects in materials or workmanship. This warranty extends forone year from the date of purchase by the original consumer. Any products returned to Harman Kardon and foundto be defective by Harman Kardon within the warranty period will be repaired or replaced, at Harman Kardon’soption, at no charge. The owner must pay any shipping charges incurred in sending the HE1000A to Harman Kardonfor replacement. Harman Kardon will not be responsible for the actual cost of installation or removal of the product,nor for any incidental or consequential damages. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidentalor consequentail damages, so the above limitation may not apply to you. This warranty is valid in the country ofpurchase.
