INSTRUCTIONS FOR ULTRAWELD® GROUNDING CONNECTIONS - CABLE TO GROUND RODGDPlace end of cable underthe center of the tap hole.Cable must sit on top ofground rod. Use lockingpliers or a clamp on therod below the mold toprevent it from slippingwhen the mold is fired .Starting PowderWeld PowderSteel DiscTap HoleWeld CavityCableGround RodGOPlace cable in the mold.Cable must sit on top ofground rod. Use lockingpliers or a clamp on the rodbelow the mold to prevent itfrom slipping when themold is fired.GSPlace cable into mold and secure mold to ground rod with handle clamp.Support mold to keep it from sliding down the ground rodwhen welding with locking pliers or clamp below mold.GFPlace cables in mold. Bottomrun cable must sit on top of theground rod. Use a pair oflocking pliers or a clamp belowmold on ground rod to supportthe mold and prevent slipping.GTPlace end of tap cable undercenter of tap hole. Run cablemust sit on top of the groundrod.
