Most solvents andcoatings are highly flammable, particularlywhen sprayed. Maintain a distance of at least25 feet from the air compressor. If possible,locate the air compressor in a separate room.4. Read all of the information concerningcoating products and cleaning solvents.Do not use chlorinated solvents(e.g. 1-1-1 trichloroethylene anddichloromethane, also known asmethylene chloride) to clean spray guns.Many spray guns contain aluminum,which reacts strongly to chlorinatedsolvents.
