Exception:You wish to remove sugary or starchyfood residues, plastic or aluminiumfoil (see below).NOTICEFor cleaning purposes, do not use anyharsh cleaning agents or scouring pow-ders, steel wool, oven sprays, steamcleaners or high-pressure cleaners! Theycan damage the surface. High-pressurecleaners can cause a short circuit.• Clean and maintain the hob regularlywith a special care product containing aspecial impregnating oil for glass ceramichobs. Such products can be found in spe-cialist shops.Slight soiling which is not burnt on• After the appliance has cooled, use adamp cloth with no cleaning agent to wipeaway dirt. Then use a soft cloth to dry thesurfaces to prevent lime stains.• You can easily remove light stains havinga pearlescent colour (aluminium residues,such as from aluminium foil) using a com-mercially available detergent that is spe-cifically available for such cleaning.• Vinegar is good for removing lime stains.Hard, baked-on dirt• Stubborn dirt is best removed after cool-ing with a scraper (not included in pack-age contents). You will also find specialcleaning cleaners in specialist shops.Finally, wipe the surface with a dampcloth.• Treat the hob with a special care productafter cleaning.Removing sugar or starchy foodparticles, synthetic materials, oraluminium foilNOTICEImmediately remove sugar or starchyfood particles and residues of plasticsor aluminium foil. Otherwise, these maycause permanent and irreparable dam-age to the hob.• Put protection on your hands beforecleaning, for example, oven mitts to pro-tect against burns. Then use the bladescraper to remove the dirt from hot glassceramic.• Once the hob has cooled down, you canremove residues using a specially de-signed cleaning product which is availablefrom specialist shops.• Treat the hob with a special care productafter cleaning.
