Probes are warranted for a period of six months.This warranty is limited to repair or replacement free of charge.Damages due to accidents, misuse, tampering or lack of prescribed maintenance arenot covered.If service is required, contact the dealer from whom you purchased the instrument. Ifunder warranty, report the model number, date of purchase, serial number and thenature of the failure. If the repair is not covered by the warranty, you will be notified ofthe charges incurred. If the instrument is to be returned to Hanna Instruments, firstobtain a Returned Goods Authorization number from the Customer Service departmentand then send it with shipping costs prepaid. When shipping any instrument, makesure it is properly packaged for complete protection.WARRANTYGENERAL DESCRIPTIONHI 9812-0 and HI 9812-5 are the complete, versatile and rain-proofportable combined meters specially dedicated to aquariums, fish-farming and seawater applications.Both models provide measurements for pH, EC and TDS ranges, whichare easily selectable through a membrane keyboard on the frontpanel.Conductivity measurements are automatically compensated for tem-perature changes with a built-in temperature sensor. The temperaturecoefficient is fixed at 2%/°C.• HI 9812-0 is a pH/EC/TDS meter designed for simplicity of use intaking pH, μS/cm and ppm measurements. Suited for hydro-ponics, greenhouses, farming and ground water applications.• HI 9812-5 offers all the features of HI 9812-0 with the additionof temperature measurement in the °C scale.
