How To ChargeNOTICE: The integrated Lithium-Ionbattery is shipped partially charged.Before using it the first time, fullycharge the battery. A fully dischargedbattery will normally charge in about30min in a surrounding temperaturebetween 0°C and 55°Ca. Charge the tool only with thecorrect charger.b. Lock the variable-speed triggeron the tool by placing the forward/lock/reverse selector in the centerposition.c. Align the slots of the integratedLithium-Ion battery with theelectrical contacts of the charger,and then slide the tool into thecharger.d. Connect the charger to the powersupply. The charger can onlybe used with normal householdvoltage of 220-240 volt AC, 50Hz.e. The red and green charging indicator lights will illuminate for approximately onesecond and then turn off. The charger will communicate with the tool to evaluate thecondition of the integrated Lithium-Ion battery.f. The green light will flash while the integrated Lithium-Ion battery is chargingnormally. When charging is complete, the green indicator light on the charger willilluminate.g. A flickering red light indicates a defective battery or a bad connection between theintegrated Lithium-Ion battery and the charger.h. The integrated Lithium-Ion battery will fully charge if left on the charger, but it willnot overcharge.1 |
