Clamping force tester TESTit – Connection6.2.3 Conversion of the measuring head6.2.3.1 Conversion of the measuring head [only with O.D. Clamping size 32]4. x Special tools required: Special wrenchFor measuring with two clamping points, e.g. ina vice, only use flat measuring bolts [not inscope of delivery]!Fig. 11At delivery the measuring head for O.D. clamping insize 32 it is prepared for 3 clamping points.NOTE!For conversion the two measuring bolts next tothe free mounting point must be removed!For conversion of the measuring head from 3 to 2clamping points the following steps have to be done:1. Loosen and remove the two mounting screws [1]and remove the two measuring bolts [2].Fig. 122. Put one of the removed measuring bolts into themounting point that was free at delivery.3. Screw in the mounting screw and tighten it firmlywith the tightening torque 0.8 Nm.4. Loosen and remove the mounting screw [1] of themeasuring bolt [2] that is mounted on the oppositesite.5. On its position put a new flat measuring bolt [4].Screw in the corresponding mounting screw [3]and tighten it firmly with the tightening torque of0.8 Nm.NOTE!Detuning of the sensor due to excessivetorque. The predetermined torque may not be ex-ceeded!NOTE!After conversion the number of clamping pointsmust be set in the software, see »Settings«!22 Order Hotline +49 7144.907-3332143
