3EnglishElectrical Requirement• Make sure there is a suitable power Outlet (220-240V, 15 ampsoutlet) with proper grounding to power the wine cellar.• Avoid the use of three plug adapters or cutting off the thirdgrounding in order to accommodate a two plug outlet. This is adangerous practice since it provides no effective grounding for thewine cellar and may result in shock hazard.Install Limitations• Do not install your wine cellar in any location not properly insulatedor heated e.g. garage etc. Your wine cellar was not designed tooperate in ambient temperature below 16°C.• Select a suitable location for the wine cellar on a hard even surfaceaway from direct sunlight or heat source e.g. radiators, baseboardheaters, cooking appliances etc. Any floor unevenness shouldbe corrected with the leveling legs located on the front and rearbottom corners of the wine cellar.• Your wine cellar is designed for free-standing installation only. It isnot designed for built-in application.Use of Extension Cord• Avoid the use of an extension cord because of potential safetyhazards under certain conditions. If it is necessary to use anextension cord, use only an extension cord that has a plug and anoutlet with grounding function. The marked rating of the extensioncord must be equal to or greater than the electrical rating of theappliance.
