4InstallationUnpacking your washing machineCaution: 2 people are required tounpack and handle the washingmachine, it is recommended thatgloves are worn.a: Carefully remove all packaging materialsincluding the foam base, dispose of corr ectly .Note: When opened, water droplets may bevisible in the drum etc. this is normal as eachappliance is factory tested.b: Remove the drain hose and power cable fromthe clips on the back of the machine (1).Removing the packing boltsImportant: The packing bolts aredesigned to support the internalcomponents during transit, theseMUST be removed before use.a: Remove the back cover plate, by r emovingthe 3 screws shown and sliding down the backcover plate (2 & 3).b: Remove all 3 packing bolts fr om the backusing a 13mm spanner or large flatbladescrewdriver. Remove the 3 rubber spacers frominside the back of the washing machine (4).Note: Keep the packing bolts and rubberspacers in a safe place for possible later use.c: Replace the back cover plate and refit thescrews.d: Push fit the plastic plugs into the holes left bythe packing bolts (insert - 4).Hose/cableclips12 34
