When this unit receives anEAS message, if the level of emergency iscomparatively low, an alert text message displayson screen. If the level of emergency is high, thereceiver is forced-tuned to a details channel.■ Alert text messages display, and forced tuningoccurs, even during paid programming. Evenwhen forced tuning is active, the user can stillchange the channel.■ If the unit is forced-tuned to a channel that hasbeen blocked by Parental Control, the ParentalControl setting is given priority, and the EASmessage is not broadcast.■ EAS messages may be broadcast not only throughdigital cable, but also through analog cable orover-the-air analog transmission. EAS alertmessages broadcasted through cable are notreceived on this TV.Connecting the cable TV or theair antennaUse standard 75-ohm coaxial cable to connect aground antenna or cable TV input source to the TV.
