● Set the time and date● Read about the software and mapsThe Settings button takes you to the settings of the device. You can, for example, set the visualappearance, choose the language to apply, set the time and date, and read about the software andmaps. The available settings are discussed in detail below.SystemTap the menu point to calibrate the screen alignment, set up the power saving, and displayinformation about the software and the maps.Align screenTo align screen:1.Enter the menu point to calibrate the orientation of your screen. This is necessary if yourtouch screen is not aligned and you have difficulty in activating the on-screen buttons.NOTE: When this option is selected, a target cross with instructions is displayed on the screen.2. Tap the stylus on the center of the cross, and repeat this each time the cross moves around thescreen.3. When the cross disappears, tap the screen within 30 seconds to save the new calibration, or waitfor 30 seconds to retain the original calibration.TimeTo set the time:1.You can set hours and minutes by tapping and .2.Tap12/2412/24to choose between 12-hour or 24-hour display in digital mode. If the 12-hour display isselected, A.M. or P.M. is displayed next to the time.3.Tap to set the time zone.DateTapJuly15to set the date.
