You can use your remote control with MediaCenter to play CDs and DVDs, view pictures, andmuch more.This remote control helps you navigate the MediaCenter windows on your computer just as a TVremote control helps you navigate cable TV optionsor control the playback of a movie in a VCR or DVDplayer.The remote control can:■ Navigate and control all Media Centerwindows.■ Control the video display.■ Place the computer in and out ofstandby mode.■ Shut down or restart the PC.■ Log off from Media Center or switch users.The remote control cannot:■ Navigate the Windows desktop or controlother computer programs outside of MediaCenter.■ Be used as a VCR, DVD player, or stereoremote control.■ Turn on or off a TV that is connected to yourPC (select models only).■ Turn on the PC.DVD MENUSTOPFWDSKIPPLAYPAUSEREWRECORDREPLAYBACK MOREVOLUME CH/PGLIVE TVMUTEGUIDE RECORDED TVPRINTRADIO MUSIC PICTURES VIDEOSTVnThe remote control isincluded with selectmodels only.
