Both fanmodules must be installed for the enclosure to coolproperly. If a fan module fails, leave it in place inthe enclosure until a new fan is available to install.Parts can be damaged by electrostatic discharge.Use proper anti-static protection. Refer to thedocumentation that shipped with your system foradditional information.NOTE: Port-colored (purple) latches oncomponents like the fan module means thecomponent is hot-swappable. It can be removedand replaced without having to power the systemdown.There are two fan modules on the back of the diskenclosure. See Figure 1 (page 1) for thelocations.Figure 1 Fan module locations2.
