Point out control and switch locations forturning off gas and electricity. Go over the User’sInformation Manual and Section 23, “Maintaining FurnaceIn Good Working Order" in this manual with the user. Makesure the user understands the importance of following allsafety precautions, including what could happen if they donot.Attach the following documents to or adjacent to thefurnace. Tell the user where these documents are located.• User's Information Manual• Installer's Information Manual• Parts List• Warranty InformationWhile these instructions have been written as accuratelyand thoroughly as possible, they can not cover everysystem variation or contingency. Questions ofinterpretation may arise. For more information, solutions toparticular problems or clarification, contact your localdistributor or the manufacturer.ATTENTION, USER! Your furnace installer shouldgive you the documents listed on opposite side. Youshould immediately read the User’s Information Manual forimportant safety information to keep you and your familysafe. Keep these as long as you keep your furnace. Passthem on to future furnace purchasers or users. If any of thedocuments are missing or illegible, contact your installer orfurnace manufacturer for replacement. Throughout thismanual, when we use the word "you" we refer to thequalified service technician who is responsible forapplication, installation and service of your furnace.? ? Do not store or use gasoline or other flammable vaporsand liquids in the vicinity of this or any other appliance.? ? WHAT TO DO IF YOU SMELL GAS• Do not try to light any appliance.• Do not touch any electrical switch.• Do not use any phone in your building.• Immediately call your gas supplier from a neighbor'sphone. Follow the gas supplier's instructions.• If you cannot reach gas supplier, call the firedepartment.WARNING: Individuals who install this furnace, must have the training and experience necessary to install gasfurnaces. They must also have training and experience necessary to install related comfort air conditioning appliances.Improper installation could create a hazard, resulting in the possibility of damage, injury or death.
