The HP 3PAR StoreServ 7000 is compatible with most industry standard 4-post EIA 19 inch racks with square mounting holes, includingthe HP Intelligent Series Rack and the HP 10000 G2 Series Rack. The HP 3PAR StoreServ 7000 can be factory configured and shipped ina rack or shipped without a rack for field integration into an existing rack. The rack used for factory integration is the HP IntelligentSeries Rack.HP Rack and Rack OptionsFactory Integration Select a rack to house your HP 3PAR StoreServ 7000.NOTE: The HP Intelligent Series Rack is the only series supported for factoryconfiguration.Primary ConfigurationRulesThe HP 3PAR StoreServ 7000 will be configured into an HP Intelligent Series Rack withthe appropriate power distribution units (PDUs). If other products such as servers orback-up products are included in the cab, a different PDU will be added (if required) orcan be chosen from a list of appropriate offerings shown in the configuration tool. TheHP Intelligent Series Rack must be purchased for factory configuration. Additional 3PARStoreServ 7000 controller node enclosures and drive enclosures may be ordered formultiple subsystem integration at the factory.The 3PAR StoreServ 7000 is also supported in HP 10000 G2 Series racks for fieldinstallation.When calculating available U-space, assume that no space will be placed between themounted components. For redundancy, order PDUs in quantities of two.
