Hampton H200 Cast Freestanding Woodstove 13MASONRYFIREPLACEThere are listed kits available to connect a stoveto a masonry fireplace. The kit is an adapter thatis installed at the location of the fireplace damper.The existing damper may have to be removed toallow installation.MASONRYCHIMNEYEnsure that a masonry chimney meets the minimumstandards of the National Fire Protection Association(NFPA) by having it inspected by a professional.Make sure there are no cracks, loose mortar orother signs of deterioration and blockage. Havethe chimney cleaned before the stove is installedand operated. When connecting the stove througha combustible wall to a masonry chimney, specialmethods are needed. Refer to page 13 for Combus-tible Wall Chimney Connector Pass-Throughs.INSTALLATION
