184.4 Volume Boost FunctionThe Volume Boost function allow s you to amplify the handset earpiece volume tocompensate for the ear’s limited sensitivity.Using a handset:To turn on the Volume Boost function:During a call, w hen in boost mode, you can increase the listening volume up to 30dBamplification.- Press and Hold (2 seconds) the VOL+ button to activate Boost mode (LED w ill besteady blue).To turn off the Volume Boost function and return the earpiece volume back tonorm al:• Press and hold again the VOL+ button to cancel Boost mode. (LED w ill go Off).NOTE:The audio boost feature will be turned off automatically w hen the call is ended.Using the base:During a call, you can activate the Volume Boost function w ith the volume of earpieceincreased by several dBs by pressing AMPLIFY , “BOOSTER ON” displays on thebase screen. To cancel it, press AMPLIFY again.4.5 End a CallUsing a handset:During a call, press to end the call.ORPut the cordless handset on the charging cradle to end the call.Using the base:During a call, put the corded handset on the base station to end the call.ORPress SPEAKER if you have a call in speakerphone mode.USE YOUR PHONE
