SETTING UP4 -TIME BREAK RECALL SWITCH (300/100)Check the Time Break Recall setting of yourCL1400. For the UK the Time Break Recall shouldbe set to 100 mS. It can be switched to 300 mS forother locations or PBX’s.9SETTING UP3 - DIALING TYPES AND GROUNDINGSwitch ETR/PR/T is located on the upper side ofenglish type models. If you wish to connect yourCL1100 to a public UK/French switch-board (PBX),move switch ETR/PR/T to position 3 (T). This willensure optimal compatibility of your phone withmost (99%) PBX.Positions: 1 2 3Position 1:Pulse dialing. The R is grounded. This option canbe used only within the UK in very special cases.Position 2:Pulse dialing. The R is set according to thedetermined adjustment (see «Time Break RecallSetting for R Function» p.9).Position 3:Tone dialing.
