This helps prevent the surround back channelsignals from reflecting off the TV or screen at the front center.Subwoofer■ The powerful deep bass sounds produced by the subwoofer arenon-directional, meaning you cannot tell where the sound is coming from.Place the subwoofer anywhere in your room. The closer to a wall or cornerthat you place your subwoofer the bassier the sound becomes.Making the connectionsConnect speakers firmly and correctly according to their channel (left and right)and their polarity (+ and –). If the connections are faulty, the speakers will notreproduce sound. If the polarity of the connections are incorrect, the soundwill be unnatural and lack bass.Warning Use speakers with an impedance of 6 ohms or above.Do not let the bare speaker wires touch each other or anymetal part of this receiver. This could damage the receiverand/or the speakers.
