You may be able tosolve any problems you have at initial startup by verifying that the serversetup has been completed correctly.Press the on/off switch on the front panel, and the green LED on the frontpanel lights.If you turn off the system, you must wait at least ten seconds before youturn the system back on.The system self-checks the memory even if the monitor is not connected. Ifthe monitor is connected and powered on, the screen displays the power-upsequence.• If more than one processor is installed, the system displays whichprocessor it is currently testing.• If any errors are encountered, the server displays them on themonitor.• If a monitor is not connected or the system is unable to display anerror, an error beep code sounds.• If the system encounters an error, it is most likely a nonfatal one,meaning the system will function until the error can be corrected(usually through the BIOS Setup).Quick checkIf the system does not operate correctly, re-read the instructions for anyprocedure(s) you have performed. If an error occurs within an application,consult the documentation supplied with the software.This section identifies solutions to common problems.
