We use a combination ofgovernmental and private data sources, which we identify in productliterature and copyright messages displayed to the consumer.Virtually all data sources contain some inaccurate or incompletedata. In some countries, complete and accurate map information iseither not available or is prohibitively expensive.Limited WarrantyThis Garmin software product (excluding the map data, which iscovered by the NAVTEQ End-User License Agreement set forth inthis product documentation) is warranted to pertain substantiallyas described in the product documentation for one year from thedate of purchase. Within this period, Garmin will, at its sole option,repair or replace the software. Such repairs or replacement willbe made at no charge to the customer, provided that the customershall be responsible for any transportation cost. This warranty doesnot cover failures due to abuse, misuse, accident, or unauthorizedalteration or repairs.This software is intended to be used only as a travel aid and mustnot be used for any purpose requiring precise measurement ofdirection, distance, location or topography. GARMIN MAKES NOWARRANTY AS TO THE ACCURACY OR COMPLETENESSOF MAP DATA IN THIS SOFTWARE.THE WARRANTIES AND REMEDIES CONTAINEDHEREIN ARE EXCLUSIVE AND IN LIEU OF ALL OTHERWARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, ORSTATUTORY, INCLUDING ANY LIABILITY ARISING UNDERANY WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.THIS WARRANTY GIVES YOU SPECIFIC LEGAL RIGHTS,WHICH MAY VARY FROM STATE TO STATE OR COUNTRYTO COUNTRY.IN NO EVENT SHALL GARMIN BE LIABLE FOR ANYINCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, INDIRECT, OR CONSEQUENTIALDAMAGES, WHETHER RESULTING FROM THE USE,MISUSE, OR INABILITY TO USE THIS PRODUCT(INCLUDING GARMIN’S SOFTWARE and the third-party mapdata) OR FROM DEFECTS IN THE PRODUCT (INCLUDINGGARMIN’S SOFTWARE and the third-party map data).
