Steps to Replace the Battery on an HRM-Run, HRM-Swim, or HRM-Tri StrapTo change the coin-cell battery on your HRM-Run, HRM-Swim, or HRM-Tri strap, you willneed the following:o CR2032 coin cell batteryo Small Phillips head screw driverThis process will take about 5 minutes.1. Remove the red or blue ring around the module2. Unscrew the four screws holding down the cover the module using the Phillips screw driver.3. Carefully remove the cover4. Turn over the strap and tap the back to get the battery out5. Carefully insert the new battery ensuring that the positive side is facing out6. Place the cover back on7. Tighten the four screws8. Replace the red or blue ring around the moduleMy Heart Rate Monitor is Reporting Erratic DataTypically, incorrect heart rate data originates in the Heart Rate Monitor (HRM) and not in thedevice.
