From the Home screen, select Configure > Communications > NMeA 0183 Setup > outputSentences.2. Select a setting: Sounder, Route, System, or Garmin.3. Select one or more NMEA 0183 output sentences.4. Repeat steps 2 and 3 to configure additional settings.Setting the Communication Format for Each NMEA 0183 PortYou can configure the input/output format for each port to use when connecting your chartplotter toexternal NMEA devices, a computer, or other Garmin devices.1.
