Risk of suffocation!Small parts can be easily swallowed. There is alsoa risk that the polybag can suffocate toddlers. Keeptoddlers away when you assemble the product.3. Initial OperationCharging the Accu:2 1The battery should be fully charged before using for the first time.Charging time, see 9. Technical Data.The lithium-ion battery can be re-charged in any state of charge,and the charging process can be interrupted at any time withoutdamaging the battery (no memory effect).The Accu Shears cannot be started during charging.WARNING!Incorrect mains voltage damages batteries and thebattery charger.v Ensure the correct mains voltage.1. Connect charging cable 1 to the jack 2 of the Accu Shears.2. Connect battery charger to an electrical socket.During charging, the jack 2 flashes green.The battery is charged.When the jack 2 lights up green, the battery is fully charged.3. Check the charge status regularly while charging.4. First pull the charging cable 1 out of the jack 2 and thenunplug the battery charger from the electrical socket.If the battery becomes empty during work, the Accu ShrubShears switch off automatically and the connector socket 2shines red. The battery is empty and has to be recharged.If the jack lights up red or yellow during charging then there is anerror (see 7. Trouble-Shooting).LED Accu BatteryDisplay Level:After each switch-off of the Accu Shears, the charge level of thebattery is shown for approx. 20 sec.LED lights up green: Accu is fully charged.LED lights up yellow: Accu is half-full.LED lights up red: Accu is empty and must be recharged.14GB
