• 33 •Reassemble the external part of thePannarello.• We recommend cleaning the watertank daily. For an easier removal of thewater tank, move the steam wand /Pannarello upwards:- Remove the small white fi lter in thewater tank and wash it under runningdrinking water.- Reposition the small white filter inits housing by gently pressing andturning it at the same time.- Fill the water tank with fresh drinkingwater.• Empty and clean the drip tray daily.Perform this operation also when thefl oat is raised.• Wash the brew group with lukewarmwater and carefully clean the upperfi lter.• Thoroughly wash and dry all the partsof the brew group.• Thoroughly clean the inside of themachine.• Make sure that the two reference signsmatch up.• Make sure that the lever is in contactwith the brew group. Press the “PUSH”button to make sure that the brewgroup is in the correct position.Lubricate the brew group af-ter approximately 500 brew-ing cycles. The grease to lubricatethe brew group may be purchased atauthorised service centres.• Lubricate the brew group guides usingthe supplied grease only.• Apply the grease evenly on both sideguides.• Insert the brew group in its seat until itlocks into place WITHOUT pressing the“PUSH” button.• Insert the coffee grounds drawer. Closethe service door.Brew Group• The brew group should be cleanedevery time the coffee bean hopper isfi lled or at least once a week.• Turn off the machine by pressing theON/OFF button and remove the plugfrom the socket.• Remove the coffee grounds drawer.Open the service door.• To remove the brew group, pull it bythe handle and press the «PUSH» but-ton. The brew group must be washedonly with lukewarm water with nodetergent/soap.• Also clean the seat of the tray everyweek through the openings on thebottom of the machine.
