In the event of anelectrical short circuit, grounding reduces the riskof electric shock by providing an escape wire forthe electric current. This appliance is equipped witha cord having a grounding wire with a groundingplug. The plug must be plugged into an outletthat is properly installed and grounded.Consult aqualified electrician or serviceman if the groundinginstructions are not completely understood, or ifdoubt exists as to whether the appliance is properlygrounded.Improper use ofthe grounding plugcan result in a risk ofelectric shock.Do not use anextension cord. This product must beconnected to a supply circuit of the proper voltageand frequency. Wire size must conform to therequirements of the National Electrical Code or theprevailing local code for this kilowatt rating. Thepower supply cord and plug should be brought toa separate 15 to 20 ampere branch circuit singlegrounded outlet. The outlet box should be locatedin the cabinet above the oven. The outlet box andsupply circuit should be installed by a qualifiedelectrician and conform to the National ElectricalCode or the prevailing local code.
