However, the grease filtershould be cleaned at least once amonth.To remove:Pull down on the center of thefront edge of the filter. The filterwill then slip out of the retainingtabs on the back.To replace:Slip the back edge of the filterinto the retaining tabs and pushthe front edge up until it snapsinto place.To clean:Soak and then agitate it in a hotwater and detergent solution.Light brushing can be used toremove embedded dirt. Rinse,shake and let it dry beforereplacing.NEVER OPERATE THE HOODWITHOUT THE FILTER IN PLACE.With careful handling, the metalfilter will last for years. If a newreplacement filter becomesnecessary, order the part fromyour dealer.
