12OperatingInstructions Safety InstructionsCare and CleaningInstallationInstructionsTroubleshooting TipsConsumer SupportTo avoid possible burns, place the shelves in thedesired position before you turn the oven on.The shelves have stop-locks, so that whenplaced correctly on the shelf supports (Athrough E), they will stop before comingcompletely out, and will not tilt.When placing and removing cookware,pull the shelf out to the bump on theshelf support.To remove a shelf, pull it toward you, tilt thefront end up and pull it out.To replace, place the end of the shelf (stop-locks) on the support, tilt up the front andpush the shelf in.NOTE: The shelf is not designed to slide outat the special low shelf (R) position.Turn this knob to the setting you want. The oven cycling light glows until theoven reaches your selected temperature,then goes off and on with the ovenelement(s) during cooking.Oven Temperature Knob (on some models)Before you begin…Using the oven.TIMER PadTouch this pad to select the timer feature.CLOCK PadTouch this pad before setting the clock.DisplayShows the time of day and the time set for the timer, cook time or start time.SET +/- PadsThese pads allow you to set the clock and timer.Clock and Timer (on some models)Appearance may vary.The oven has 5 shelf positions.It also has a special low shelfposition (R) for extra large items,such as a large turkey.How to Set the Oven for Baking or Roasting (on models without an oven temperature knob)Touch the BAKE pad.Touch the + or – pads until thedesired temperature is displayed.Touch the START/ON pad.The oven will start automatically. Thedisplay will show PRE while preheating.When the oven reaches the selectedtemperature, the oven control will beep andthe display will show the oven temperature.To change the oven temperature during BAKE cycle,touch the BAKE pad and then the + or – pads toget the new temperature.Check food for doneness at minimumtime on recipe.
