Corrosive cleaningagents, such as lye-based oven cleaners, may damage the filter.■ When preparing flaming foods under the microwave, turnthe fan on.■ Never leave surface units beneath your microwave ovenunattended at high heat settings. Boilovers cause smokingand greasy spillovers that may ignite and spread if themicrowave vent fan is operating.
