MODEL NO. 19005LOFOR INDOOR USE ONLYIMPORTANT SAFETYINSTRUCTIONSWhen using electrical products, basic precautions should always be followedincluding the following:a) READ AND FOLLOW ALLSAFETY INSTRUCTIONS.b) Do not use seasonal products outdoors unless marked suitable for indoorand outdoor use.c) This seasonal use product is not intended for permanent installation or use.d) Do not mount or place near gas or electric heaters, fireplaces, candles orother similar sources of heat.e) Do not secure the wiring of the product with staples or nails, or place onsharp hooks or nails.f) Do not let lamps rest on the supply cord or on any wire.g) This is an electric product-not a toy! To avoid risk of fire, burns, personalinjury and electric shock it should not be played with or placed wheresmall children can reach it.h) Do not use this product for other than its intended use.i) Do not hang ornaments or other objects from cord, wire, or light string.j) Do not close doors or windows on the product or extension cords as thismay damage the wire insulation.k) Do not cover the product with cloth, paper or any material not part of theproduct when in use.l)This product is equipped with push-in type lamps. Do not twist lamps.m) Read and follow all instructions that are on the product or provided withthe product.n) SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONSUSE AND CARE INSTRUCTIONSa) When the product is placed on a live tree, the tree should be wellmaintained and fresh. Do not place on live trees in which the needles arebrown or break off easily. Keep the tree holder filled with water.b) If the product is placed on a tree, the tree should be well secured andstable.c) Before using or reusing, inspect product carefully. Discard any productsthat have cut, damaged, or frayed wire insulation or cords, cracks in thelampholders or enclosures, loose connections, or exposed copper wire.d) When storing the product, carefully remove the product from wherever it isplaced, including tree, branches, or bushes, to avoid any undue strain orstress on the product conductors, connections, and wires.e) When not in use, store neatly in a cool, dry location protected fromsunlight.USER SERVICING INSTRUCTIONSReplace the lamp.1. Grasp plug and remove from the receptacle orother outlet device. Do not unplug by pulling cord.2. Pull lamp and plastic base straight out of lampholder.3. Replace lamp with only 3.3 Volt, 0.066 Watt,LED type lamp (provided with product).If the new lamp base does not fit in lampholder, follow the steps below step 3.a) Remove the base of burned out lamp by straightening lamp leads andgently pull lamp out.b) Thread leads of new lamp through holes in old base with one lead in eachhole.c) After lamp is fully inserted into base, bend each lead up, like other lampsin the light set so that the leads will touch the contacts inside thelampholder.CAUTION:1. Risk of fire. This product does not contain lamp shunts, which allow theproduct to operate if one lamp burns out. Do not replace lamps with otherthan the spare lamps provided with this product.2. To reduce the risk of fire and electric shock: a) Do not install on treeshaving needles, leaves or branch coverings of metal or materials whichlook like metal, and b) Do not mount or support strings in a manner thatcan cut or damage wire insulation.BATTERY CAUTION:Non-rechargeable batteries are not to be recharged.Always purchase the correct size and grade of battery most suitable for theintended use.Clean the battery contacts and also those of the device prior to battery installation.Ensure the batteries are installed correctly with regard to polarity (+and-).Remove batteries from equipment which is not to be used for an extendedperiod of time.Remove used batteries promptly.Exhausted batteries are to be removed from the product.Always replace the whole set of batteries at once time, taking care not to mixold and new ones or batteries of different type, such as alkaline, standard(carbon-zinc) or rechargeable (nickel cadmium) batteries.Replace only with (3) AA Alkaline batteries.AA batteries (not included)Built-in timer relights every evening all season(5 hours on, 19 hours off)PLEASE READ USE AND CARE INSTRUCTIONS ATTACHED BEFORETURNING THE LIGHTS ON.Once the lights are lit, they will remain lit for 5 hours. At the end of 5 hoursthe lights will automatically shut off.The lights will automatically turn on the next evening at the same time.This process will repeat throughout the entire holiday season until you turnthe lights to the OFF position.Federal Communication Commission Interference StatementThis device complies with Part 15 of the FCC Rules.
