Cain Slider WearVisually inspect the upper and lower chain sliders.(A). Chain Slider.(B). Seing Arm.Sprocket WearVisually inspect the sprocket teeth. If they are worn or damaged,replace the sprockets.LubricationLubrication is necessary after riding through rain or in the mud, orany time that the chain appears dry. A heavy oil is preferred to alighter ol because it will stay on the chain longer and provide betterlubrication.Apply oil to the side of the rollers so that it will penetrate to the rollersand bushings. Wipe off any excess oil.(A).
