Adjusting Your Telephone Ring& Pitch (using the blue buttons)Volume:With your phone ON the hook, dial#136Your phone will begin to ringUse the blue UP and DOWNarrow keys to adjust to therequired levelPress SPKR to save.Pitch (this will adjust the tune ofyour phone ring to differentiate itfrom other phones in your area)With your phone on the hook, dial#136Press 2Use the blue UP and DOWNarrow keys to adjust to therequired pitchPress SPKR to save.Note: Ensure that you have the“Headset Only” button turned offwhen using this featureUsing a HEADSETConnect your headset to the socketunderneath your digital phone (labelled#2 port – picture of a headset)Press the “HEADSET ONLY” button.The light will go red to indicate that youare in “headset mode”Place the handset on the hook.You are now free to use BOTH thehandset receiver and the headset tomake or answer calls.To make an outgoing call via yourheadset:Dial out directly from the telephonekeypad (include 0 as usual if this isan outside call)You will hear and speak via yourheadset.To answer a call via your headset:Press the SPKR button to answer acall. The SPKR and LINE button willgo red.To disconnect from a call via yourheadsetPress the SPKR button while active ona call. The SPKR and LINE buttons willgo out.To Go From Headset to HandsetTo go from headset to handset during aCall. Lift the handset.You can now hear the caller throughboth the headset and handset.To go From Handset to Headset ONLYPress the TOGGLE Handsfree” buttonReturn the handset to the cradleYour SPKR and LINE buttons willremain lit.You will now only hear the callerthrough your headset.Using Hands-free (when youhave a headset attached)Turn off the “HEADSET ONLY”button. The light will go out.You can now make hands-free calls bydialling directly from the keypad.To answer a call hands-free, press theSPKR button.You are free to lift the handset at anytime, however, to go back to hands-free, you must press the “TOGGLEHandsfree” button before hanging upthe handset to continue the call hands-free.If you do not press the “TOGGLEHandsfree” button first, then…your callwill be disconnected.Note: You cannot turn on the headsetbutton or use your headset while on ahands-free call.
