9How to Assemble the Blades and Light Kitx 21x 21FIBER WASHER3/16-24 x 8mmWASHER HEADSCREWSHARDWARE USED:x 111/4-20 x 14mmSCREWSHARDWARE USED:BLADE3/16-24 x 7.5mm WASHERHEAD SCREW AND FIBERWASHER (3 each per blade)BLADE HOLDERFigure 2MOTOR SUPPORT1/4-20 x 14mm SCREWS(2 per assembly)BLADE HOLDERRUBBERMOTOR STOPS2. Position the blade over the blade holder withthreaded posts showing. Make sure the bottomedge of the blade is fully seated against the bladearm. With a Phillips screwdriver, tighten 3/16-24 x8 mm washer head screws and fiber washers tosecure the blade to the blade arm (Figure 2).1. Remove the blade bushing cover (Figure 1).3. Remove and discard rubber motor stops. (Figure 3)Do not connect fan blades until the fan is completelyinstalled. Installing the fan with blades assembledmay result in damage to the fan blades.CAUTION4. Secure the blade holders to the motor supportusing the 1/4-20 x 14mm screws through the holeslocated on the top of the motor support (Figure 4).NOTE: Periodically check blade holder hardware andresecure if necessary.To reduce the risk of personal injury, do not bend theblade holders when installing, balancing the bladesor cleaning the fan.
