OPERATION ST100 Series Flow Meter30 Fluid Components International LLCSelect the Group Switch Setup tab. In the window’s Auto FE Calibration Group Switching Setup field, specify the process data type via the Pro-cess Data drop-down list (choose from Flow, Temperature, or Pressure). Observe that the corresponding engineering units are shown below theProcess Data selection. The application then automatically defines the range over which group switching occurs by populating the bottom and topprocess data value text boxes with the calibrated MIN and MAX values respectively. Enter one or more process data values as required for theapplication. Assign an FE calibration group to a process data value entry by selecting its number from the FE Cal. Group drop-down list. A processdata entry without a calibration group assignment assumes the last switched calibration group. The FCS setup field's Reset button provides aquick way to set process data to Flow (with calibrated MIN and MAX values entered into the bottom and top process data value text boxes).Click Send to Device to send the FCS programming to the instrument. Return to normal operation by selecting the Extended Op. Mode taband clicking Toggle System Mode (observe that System Mode field shows Running).The Process Data screen on the ST100 configuration application will now display “EXTENDED OP MODE FCS” in the upper left corner. TheHMI display also shows FCS on the Group Number line after the HMI is refreshed. Refresh the HMI display by cycling the power to the unit orcovering the Hot Key for 3 seconds.Auto FE Calibration Group Switching (FCS)This mode automatically changes the ST100 calibration group based on specific process data values of flow rate, temperature, or pressure (in FCI Units).Start the application. Click USB Connect on the home screen. Select the Configuration branch from the menu tree on the window's left side. Selectthe Extended Op. Mode tab. Click Toggle System Mode. Enter user level password 2772 at the prompt. Verify that instrument is in the servicestate with Setup showing in System Mode field.
