Publishing Discs 57c Caution:❏ For PP-50BD: Do not open the disc cover while the product is publishing discs, unless theapplication instructs you to add or remove discs. This may affect write quality. Also, do notput your hands inside the product while it is beeping, as the arm is still moving.❏ For PP-50BD: Beep will sound if you open the disc cover while running a job, and the jobwill pause. Closing the disc cover automatically resumes the job.❏ For PP-50BD: Do not operate the stacker while the unit is beeping, as the arm may bedamaged.❏ For PP-50BD: If you need to open the disc cover, pause or cancel your job beforeopening it.❏ For PP-50: When you open the disc cover while running a job (Busy indicator is flashing),make sure the internal light has turned off and that the arm has stopped moving beforeperforming any operation, such as loading or taking out discs. Do not put your handsinside the product or operate stackers while the arm is moving. Also, open and close thedisc cover gently.❏ For PP-50: When you open the disc cover while running a job, the job will pause. Closingthe disc cover automatically resumes the job.❏ Do not open the ink cartridge cover while running a job.❏ Depending on the disc or the computer used, writing speed may become slower than theset speed.❏ Depending on the disc used, the recommended writing speed of the disc cannot be used.In this case, reduce the writing speed. Especially with DVD±R DL and BD-R DL, it isrecommended to write with slow speed.Note:If Windows shuts down while processing a job, the job may be resumed when Windows restartsnext time.
