NeitherEPSON nor its affiliates will assume any responsability for any damagesthat result from a Firmware update. Your use of this document and anyrelated Firmware file(s) is at your own risk. Any resulting repair will NOTbe covered by your warranty.Please note that carrying out the upgrade should not cause loss ofstored files (images, movies or music) on your P-2000/P-4000. However,it is recommended that you make a full backup of any data before youproceed.IntroductionYou can check your existing firmware version in the bottom right of the“Settings” menu of the P-2000/P-4000.An update is only possible to afirmware with a higher version number. (see image below).The following conditions must be met before you can update the firmware.• The battery must be inserted into the P-2000/P-4000 and should befully charged• The AC Adapter must be plugged in to the mains and connected to theP-2000/P-4000• A Compact Flash (CF) or Secure Digital (SD) memory card with a sizeof 128MB or greater should be available and clear of data |
