Beam Central Vacuum SystemsPLATINUM LCDINSTRUCTION MANUALRead This Manual Thoroughly Before UseMAIN SCREENThe main screen is shown when the system isconnected to an electrical outlet. This is thescreen displayed in regular operations mode with full systemperformance. The system performance plus local time andtemperature can be viewed from the Main Screen.Along the bottom of the screen the following icons aredisplayed from left to right, the Power( ) icon, the Left( ) andRight( ) Toggle Arrow icons and the Enter ( ) icon. Toscroll through the LCD menus, the button directly below eachcorresponding icon executes the navigational feature.USER SETUPYour LCD enabled power unit provides the ability to customizethe temperature,(Celcius or Fahrenheit) and time formats,(12-hour or 24-hour). Formats can be customized using theUSER SETUP menu. To enter the USER SETUP menu, pressthe button.Temperature CustomizationUse the Left and Right toggle buttons to select thetemperature format of either C or F. Once the correct formathas been selected, press the button to proceed to thenext screen.Time Format CustomizationUse the Left and Right toggle arrows to select the temperatureformat of either 12 or 24 hours. Once the correct format hasbeen selected, press the button to proceed to the nextscreen.Time SettingThe time can be changed by using the Left and Right togglebuttons. The fi rst number field in the display is underlined witha bar, indicating that it can be adjusted with the toggle buttons.Press the button to proceed to the next number field.Review User Setup SettingsThe next screen displays the temperature and time with theuser selected formats. Press the button to return tothe Main ScreenPower Button Toggle ButtonsEnter Button
