Ifneeded, the fixed burners should be cleaned in place with an humid cloth (do not sprawwater on them).Refer to the following instructions:To Remove and Replace the Surface Burner Grate, SurfaceBurner Cap and Surface Burner Head - Remove in thefollowing order; (1st) Surface Burner Grate, (2nd) SurfaceBurner Cap, (3rd) Surface Burner Head (See Figure 1).Reverse the procedure above to replace the Surface BurnerCap, Surface Burner Head and Surface Burner Grate. Donot remove any burner parts from the cooktop until theburner parts have completely cooled and are safe tohandle. Do not operate the surface burners without theSurface Burner Heads, Surface Burner Caps andSurface Burner Grates properly in place.To Clean the Burner Caps, Burner Heads and Burner Grates -Use a soap-filled scouring pad or a mild abrasive cleaner to cleanthe surface burner caps and surface burner heads. The Gratesare designed to be Dishwasher safe for cleaning. The ports (orslots) around the burner heads must be routinely cleaned. Ifresidue still remains in these ports, use a small-gauge wire or needle to clean the slotsor holes being careful not to damage the electrode. For proper flow of gas and ignition ofthe burner—DO NOT ALLOW SPILLS, FOOD, CLEANING AGENTS OR ANY OTHERMATERIAL TO ENTER THE GAS ORIFICE HOLDER OPENING.
