5ENGLISH The appliance must be earthed. Make sure that the electricalinformation on the rating plate agreeswith the power supply. If not, contact anelectrician. Always use a correctly installed shock-proof socket. Do not use multi-plug adapters and ex-tension cables. Make sure not to cause damage to themains plug and to the mains cable.Contact the Service or an electrician tochange a damaged mains cable. The shock protection of live and insula-ted parts must be fastened in suchaway that it cannot be removed withouttools. Connect the mains cable tips to themains cable only at the end of theinstallation. Make sure that there isaccess tothe mains plug after theinstallation. Use only correct isolation devices: lineprotecting cut-outs, fuses (screw typefuses removed from the holder), earthleakage trips and contactors. The electrical installation must have anisolation device which lets youdisconnect the appliance from themains at all poles. The isolation devicemust have a contact opening width ofminimum 3 mm. In case of care and maintaining worksdisconnect device from the eiectriccircuit by switch ing off the main switchor quitting the voltage of the powersupply. Connect heat lamp by means of safetyplug to power supply system.Device is ready for operation.Connected load: 240V, 250W2.3 UseWARNING!Risk of injury, burns or electricshock or explosion. Always ensure during the use that theworktop is protected from direct contactwith the light of the lamp (i.e. ceramicdish, etc...) Device serves to keep warm food-shorttermed. Warm keeping temperature depends onthe distance between lamp and food. The appliance is equipped with 250Wbulbs. Use this appliance in a household envi-ronment. Do not change the specification of thisappliance. Make sure that the ventilation openingsare not blocked. Do not let the appliance stay unatten-ded during operation. Deactivate the appliance after eachuse. Do not operate the appliance with wethands or when it has contact withwater. Do not use the appliance as a worksurface or as a storage surface. Do not put flammable products or itemsthat are wet with flammable products in,near or on the appliance.WARNING!Risk of damage to the appliance. Don't touch hot bulb with unprotectedhands. Do not cover device while heating.2.4 Internal light The type of light bulb used for thisappliance, is only to keep food warm.Do not use it for house lighting.WARNING!Risk of electric shock. Before replacing the lamp, turn off theappliance from the power supply. Only use lamps with the same specifi-cations.2.5 DisposalWARNING!Risk of injury or suffocation. Disconnect the appliance from themains supply. Cut off the mains cable and discard it. |
